Tomato & Roasted Garlic Cheese Spread
Can anyone say Calories? Live a little! Enjoy life! You will love it.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. cream cheese at room temperature
- 8 oz. sweet butter at room temperature
- 1 8-oz. jar SonomaĆ Julienne Tomatoes & Roasted Garlic,drained
- 8 pita rounds
Instructions:
In a food processor blend cream cheese and sweet butter until smooth. Add tomatoes and stir gently by hand to distribute evenly. Line a mold large enough to hold mixture with plastic wrap with ends that hang over by a few inches. Spoon mixture into mold, cover with loose ends of plastic, and refrigerate for at least one hour and up to overnight. Unmold cheese spread on a serving tray. Cut pita rounds into quarters, toast, and place around the cheese mold.
