Living In A Binge Society

We live to binge. We have learned to accept binging as part of our daily lives. We binge eat, binge spend, binge save, and binge exercise. No wonder there are so many health problems in the united states!

Spending
We spend to the extreme all the time. Who do you know doesn't have credit card debt? Our entire retail culture is based around our spontaneous purchasing habits.

Saving
We decide its time to save, and save every penny we have. But soon the bills pile up and we use are forced to break into our savings. Savings plans that are too extreme seldom ever work.

Dieting
When most people start a diet, they go all out and expect to see immediate results. You won't lose weight by not eating. Sooner or later, you will give in and eat. Starving yourself only leads to binge eating down the road.

Exercising
The same goes for exercising. You suddenly decide to take up running again. You start in hard and fast, just where you left off. Exercising every day for two weeks may seem great, but what happens after you get injured and are forced to stop exercising?

Consistancy and Moderation
By using FitnessJournal, you can overcome the extremes and start exercising and dieting with realistic goals, reducing injury, and gain the satisfaction of making your own goals come to life. If you are looking for long term solutions, sign up today.
