Patricia, all FJ's remember we're in this for the long haul. make good choices everyday. Don't overdo the self-denial.

I'm down 1 1/2 pounds from last week to 144.5.

I made good choices but didn't meet my goals.

miles goal fifteen - did 11

guage 2000- didn't even get it there much less maintain

Water - I did drink a good bit but didn't get in 6 glasses every day

Intake x 7 - I did watch what I ate everyday but did not record

So, reasonable goals for week seven

15 miles

get guage to 2000

6 glasses of water each day

record intake 5 days

wt down 1 pound

Heather, we're so proud of you!

Loretta

Had a good week. Couple hard work outs made me take a few more rest days than I really wanted to but its ok. I had a 5 mile race yesterday and I found I was well rested and had a great race even the rain was coming down pretty good. This week, I'm off on vacation where I'll be waterskiing, swimming, biking, and hopefully a run or 2 but I tend to slack off on my runs when on vacation. Have a great week everyone. Be back on Sunday. =)

Hi all! Had a slow week last week. For some reason when I am on Holidays and have plenty of time I get less done than when I am at work and have no time!

We are spending a week at Clear Lake and did start off well with a good walk necessary to offset the cinnamon bun!

My goals this week are to walk every day and try to eat well from here on in.

Hey all and a special thanks to Terry for helping us out! Yippeee Terry!

Ugh, what a pain in the arse. We are fine but it was very, VERY wierd to hear the lightning hit and then sizzle sounds. Scared the be-jeebers out of us and the pup when it happened. Thankfully ten y.o. dog visiting Auntie Ann for the weekend. So I'm on the computer here at work and only have a couple minutes. I'll read posts and get back to you guys when up and running again.

Last week: great on weekdays and snacky/grazy on the weekend. BUT! More good than bad that's for sure. On top of having to open my own garage door manually (yeah, I know, at least my car's in the garage) I went to the gym this morn (5a) and they weren't open since the person didn't show up to open...frustrating that. So I went home and took the pup for a walk. I'll talk to you all soon!!! THANKS SO VERY MUCH FOR THE GOOD WISHES. We are fine but will be getting a bunch of new stuff to replace our pretty new stuff that fried. TTFN, Beverly

I agree with the others that you should get rid of the candy in some way. I know if there is candy in the house it calls to me until I answer the call! If you find it hard to get rid of it yourself ask a friend or family member do it for you. You may be able to eat candy again in the future but even then it is still better to buy one piece and eat it rather than go into your stash when it might be hard to stop after one piece.

Hope this helps

Ingrid

Hey kids. I still don't have internet service (actually I have the service but my computer just can't see it) but I'm at the office today. I feel so disconnected! Hope you are all well :) Good decision on the candy Alexandria. Ultimately the questions we struggle with must be decided upon by us, as individuals, and it sounds like you decided on what was right for you. Diabetes (sp?)is a serious thing and you are worth the good care.
