Topic: Food Journal: Protein sum is far off

After entering in my daily meal totals I checked the added sums at the bottom. My protein for the day (February 16th) was 324g!?!

Since I knew that was way off, I went back into each food, copied down the protein in each, multiplied the servings, and arrived at 216g !

I've not heard back from the bug support, so I figured I'd try posting it here. If the calculations aren't accurate this is a real turnoff. One of the chief reasons I joined was so that I could track my caloric and protein intake, and see it over time. If it isn't tracking this accurately... well it's upsetting.

Any info, tips, solutions?

Thanks in advance.

Michael:

I'll see if I can get to the bottom of your protein sum. I'll let you know what I find and will post the results here.

I noticed the same problem with my carbs and fats. I think the problem is when you have more than one serving of the same item it starts multiplying the numbers. I too asked bug support for some feedback. Did you hear anything?

I have sent two requests and had no reply. I am quite surprised because I have found them to be responsive in the past. However, not on this issue.
