The strength training tool has been a very interesting adventure since its launch. There are so many different exercise requests every day... too many to count. Many people call the same exercise by many different names, and some exercises are so unique that only one or two people will use them, which makes a general exercise list very restricting.
Problem solved! There is a new customize feature (look for the customize button at the top of strength training) that will allow you to create your own custom categories and exercises. You can now add as many exercises as you wish without hounding me on a daily basis ;-)
Custom exercises and categories can only be viewed by you and will not display for anyone else's strength training journal.
