Hey I'd like some up to date thoughts on which Garmin people like better...305 or 405. I'm going to be training in areas other than home and thought gps would be good. Just can't tell which one to get. Thanks! |

Now that's worth noting; I'm often found on the little side streets hoping I remember which way is the way back. Thanks Tammie! |

Beverly, I'm upgrading from the 301 (big bulky watch) to the 405 (normal looking watch). Still waiting for it to ship as garmin hasn't started distributing yet, so I can't tell you if its lives up to all its hype. I'll be sure to let everyone know when it comes in and how much I do like it. My brother has the 305 and loves it. I think it looks too bulky to upgrade to that from the 301 and thats my main reason for upgrading in the first place. Hope this helps.

As a life long Giants fan Tammie, I would tell you not to get too excited about sweeping the Giants this year...they SUCK HORRIBLY!!! Rant over..the 305 is more than you will ever need, a great tool to have!

I would be willing to guess that most teams will sweep the Giants. I can not see the light and the end of the tunnel. Looks like a long road ahead....

I have the 305, I am very happy with it. It is a bit on the bulky side and took some getting used to, but now I am used to it. I wouldn't mind a sleeker version, but it would need to have EVERYTHING, like the 305.
Best of luck!!
