Is there anybody using the site that wants to talk about what they're doing? Or wants some mutual support? There doesn't seem to have been any activity for quite a while!

This is a shame, I used to use this site quite a bit and it was pretty active. I wonder where everyone has gone. Of course, I just came back myself. There are so many free sites anymore that it has to be tough to keep this one up and running. I love some of the features here.

Hi….I'm here in Sacramento…been here for awhile and will never abandon the site as I love to compare from year to year….if you look in the charts of miles, hours, etc you'll see that there are folks still logging. Maybe now with Social media, folks are communicating with others elsewhere……

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods,

gerry

I'm here. I'm like Gerry, I keep track of everything and like to see where I rank on "the boards"

Nice to hear from both of you. I just came back to this site after being gone for a while. I love some of the features here that I cannot find elsewhwere, however, I love some of the stuff other sites offer also.

I love the maps here and the journaling.

I'm here, on and off! Checking in now. Any thoughts to starting a challenge of some sort?

Hi All

Beverley, that sounds like a good plan! What kind of challenge were you thinking of? I've just been ill and haven't done much exercise for a few weeks, so it would be a kick to get me going again!!

How many times a week are people exercising? Maybe the challenge could be to do a certain amount every day - or every other day depending on how much people are doing now. Or a certain amount a week. Anyone got any other suggestions?

My food is not good either at the moment - I buy healthy stuff and end up eating the not so good stuff!!! I just can't seem to get my head into the right place!!!!

Since it is recommended to "play" 60 minutes a day....what if we challenge ourselves to 7 hours a week. I realize that rest days are important, but, since we are playing 60 minutes a day on average, we can rest in other ways like walking the dog, washing the car, cleaning the garage, etc....

Just my thoughts...am willing to do anything...

I'm up for that Gerry - what does everyone else think?

At the moment I'm doing a combination of weights and rowing, but I've just been cleared to try running again as long as I go slowly to start (I always go slowly anyway!!). Haven't dared to actually do it yet though!! Think I'm going to start by going on the treadmill, just in case my achilles doesn't like it!! Much prefer running outdoors though.

What does everyone else do?

Hi all, I do a variety of exercises. I own a Curves Franchise, so I do the circuit daily. I am a zumba instructor and I teach that 2 days a week. I also teach toning classes and am training for a half marathon in March so I run and walk intervals.

I'm up for whatever anyone wants to do.

Health and Happiness,

Peggi

Okey dokey kiddos...what shall this challenge be? I'm in. Do we all want to set individual goals and have a group a group goal? What shall we call it...

End the Year Right? Pathway to a Healthy 2019? Small Steps to Great Change? Progress not Perfection? Seize the Day?

For me: my goals would be to get my bum up in the morn and get to the gym. Food out of control these last couple weeks but over all not so bad. Weight relatively ok but up (yet containable). I don't want to go thru December on sugar mode as I've been doing these last couple weeks.

Your thoughts?

Beverly
