Hey Maria...The eating is important to fuel your body. I don't think it's so much an exact time thing and the quantities, etc. are different for everyone. It all depends on what you're trying to accomplish. (how's that for a non-answer answer?)

As far as the rhr (resting heart rate) it's a sign of your conditioning (and if you're training it can be a sign of overtraining when your heart is working too hard). Here's a link for more on heart rates: https://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=4701
