Greetings all. I am benched due to a neuroma in my left foot. Has anyone had any success in recovery? The podiatrist says surgery is my next step (after some ultrasound, wraps and a cortisone shot). Am currently trying acupuncture with some relief but not great success. Thought I'd throw it out there for advice.

Thank you,

Beverly

Thanks Loretta! Nothing quick so far. Been trying to recover for a few months now, since mid-summer. Crazy thing.

have you seen a neurologist? I don't know if they could help. but they might have some light to shed on the mystery. are you able to get any exercise in?

It's a Morton's neuroma, between 3rd and 4th metatarsal on left foot. Feels like when dentist hits a nerve on your tooth only shoots up leg. Worse when on feet so not much moving. Figure time to start stationary biking. Thanks. :)

Beveryl

I don't have a neuroma however I have feet problems that could have become that. I've gotten relief from a chiropractor specializing in ankles/feet and a chinese massage therapst, I also do feet exercises and use correct toes. Improved my feet from 30% functioning to 70% in 3 months.

You've had success with other people changing your alignment so if you take responsibility and put in the work you won't have any problem in the future. Check out Egoscue.

Hi Loretta! Our dogs are great, thanks. We've now have 3 Giants and our Mini Bull. They run, run, run in the back yard and all but the puppy do varying incline tm walks. Thanks for asking about them!!
