I know I posted this topic before, but I can't find it for the life of me.
Today's photo 7-9-07 is of Lee Alderman in France on the famed Mt Ventoux climb. Lee is a FJ member and part of our riding team (WC Velo). I believe he is currently the leading cyclist, in terms of miles, from our team on FJ.
His wife was kind enough to SAG for him on the climb. The winds were horrible, and nearly blew him off the road a couple of times. His wife tried to convince him to get in the car, but there was no way, Lee had planned this ride for months.

OK - Apparently I was the only one who liked the idea of this link. I think it is fun to see us in action, I love the photos in races, on hikes, etc. So, going along with that theme, you can post some pictures under this blog.
Also - On the cover is our FJ Team ride, those riding from front to back are as follows:
1. Yours truly
2. Brian Perkins
3. Dave Neff (The only blue helmet)
4. Pat Kruegar (#1 in cycling miles in 2007)
5. Adrian StFrancis (New kid to the group only 16 or 17, I forget which)
6. Tom Hansen (Neighbor of mine)
7. David Guhin
8. Sarah Trejo (Only girl in the group, just dropping back after a difficult and long pull)

Today's(3-28-2008) photo - Brian Perkins - Local Fjer and all around good guy riding the 3 day 150 mile Colorado Peak Challenge (Not the official name, but it escapes me) for charity to benefit The Children's Hospital. Brian has become known for this pose of lifting his bike over his head as it ways nothing. |
