Certain Clif Bar peanut butter products were recalled as part of the nation-wide recall of thousands of tainted peanut butter products, not just Clif Bar. They're doing it voluntarily as a precaution because they order products from the tainted facility that is now under investigation.
To find out if your bars are part of the recall, go to their website. I believe they're offering a refund for the recalled products.
