I'm not a "sales-gal" but I thought I would post this incase anyone was interested.
I've exercised regularly for about 10 years now, but I just turned "heath-nut" last year (and lost 40lbs...mostly by DIET, not exercise). Trying to avoid refined sugars & flours, artificial sweeteners & additives, fillers & chemicals. It was very difficult for me to find a good PROTEIN SHAKE, even at the health food store...seems they all have some sort of "junk" in them.
Anyway, I've been taking "Dr. Organics" (protein powder & supplements), and it's made a huge difference! Being a marathon runner & bodybuilder, I need protein & energy...and preferably in a healthy way!
I wouldn't recommend the stuff as a "stand alone" thing. I think it's important to get as much of our nutrition as possible from whole foods. But it's definitely hard to get everything you need from food alone.
