2 work arounds -
1. Enter your bike miles as bricks and they won't count. Of course this doesn't let you know where you are with other things.
2. You can sum up your walking miles only, there is a chart somewhere that does that. Of course, then you don't get the nice visual effect.

I agree, this would be cool. I say we do it. This feature will make it into the next version of the map(s). Cheers!
