Thanks Ms. Lane! I love your quote and will borrow and apply it. Now where are all you 12-weekers???? |

accomplishments (wow, I can't believe I'm using that positive word for me, I think I'll practice that again)
ACCOMPLISHMENTS for last week: 9.75 miles, 1 pound down, drank water fairly well.
Goals for this week: 12 miles, 1 pound, record intake 4 days, drink water.
Let's finish strong

Another decent week for me. Once again worked out 4 out of 5 scheduled times. Was too exhausted to do anything on Friday. Saturday, I ran with my youngest bro on some killer hills. Toughest run I've done in a long time. It was fun though. Haven't seen him since the holidays. Spring break this week. YAY, for Spring!! Looking at having time to get some more runs in. :) Have a great week everyone!

Hi All!
Just got back from a week in Mexico. What a beautiful place! I wanted to get right back on the plane and flop back onto the beach. My biggest problem is that I logged on to record my activity and nowhere do I find the calories expended for "running to the buffet" or "waving for the waiter for another Margarita"!
The quote is quite apt for me. I will now forget my blunders (AKA Daiquiris), and regroup for the final three weeks.
I have reviewed my initial goals and am close to some but others have eluded me. So my goal for the next three weeks is to work towards those goals.
Have a terrific week everyone!

I like what Ingrid said about reviewing her initial 12-Week goals and focusing on them for the remainder of the Challenge. That's pretty much what I hope to do for the next 3 weeks. I plan to work hard, and eat more VEGETABLES!
Patricia, good choice of the quote to start our week. I had a not-so-great week and was unhappy about it. Did some whining, and one of you (Rrricky? Is that you?) gave me the gentle kick in the pants I needed. Thank you. Support and encouragement is great!
We are expecting a big snow/sleet storm late today, so I'll get a good walk in today while I can.
Have a great week!

Yesterday, I got off work and it was such a nice sunny, warmer day than we've had in while that I couldn't resist not to go for a run. It was great! Can't wait for more days like yesterday. Spring fever? Yup, I've got it. :D

Sounds like everyone is doing great! Does anyone have a good resource for nutrition plans? I have lost 50 lbs. in seven months and need to lose 25-30 more. I workout with a trainer 2 times a week and log 4-5 miles per day the other 5. Regina - Good Luck w/ your 5k. Mine (my first) is March 30th. Any tips out there for first race?
Hope everyone has a great weekend and finishes out the month strong!!
